Who actually files my BOC-3?
Our process agent partner, Total Insight Professional Services, LLC (TIPS), files your BOC-3 with FMCSA. TIPS is a blanket process-agent company on FMCSA's process-agent list, and it is the name you will see as process agent on your FMCSA record.
FastBOC3Filing (operated by Fast Filing Group LLC) is a private filing service, not a process agent. We prepare your order; our process agent partner files the BOC-3. A motor carrier's BOC-3 must be filed by a process agent, per FMCSA's Form BOC-3 page.
Orders placed before 4 PM ET on a business day are sent for filing that day, and the BOC-3 usually shows in FMCSA's Licensing and Insurance record within about one business day, listing TIPS as your process agent.
