How to verify a BOC-3 filing yourself
Reviews are one signal; FMCSA's public record is another. Anyone can check whether a BOC-3 is on file and which process agent it names:
- Open FMCSA's Motus public search at motus.dot.gov/public/search (no login needed).
- Search by USDOT number (not MC number) or legal name.
- Open the operating authority and look for the process agent (BOC-3) details: whether a designation is on file and which blanket company it names.
